Our Fair attracts a diverse group of people. We do our best to provide a mixture of entertainment that will attract attendees of all ages and tastes.
The Bangor State Fair has a limited number of spaces to rent to vendors who wish to sell their wares. Our Commercial Exhibits Area is located near the main entrance to the fair.
Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A 50% deposit and completed application are required to hold space. Any applications received after July 1st must be accompanied by full payment. Contracts are not binding until they are accepted in writing by the Bangor State Fair.
We reserve the right to refuse space to a vendor if we already have a vendor selling the same product or deem the product inappropriate.
The Bangor State Fair management does not rent space to food vendors any more. Previous food vendors (in good standing) will be "grandfathered", but we will not accept new food vendors in our commercial exhibits area. Food vendors should call Fiesta Shows at 603-474- 5424 regarding space on the carnival midway.
Below you will find our 2008 application and handbook. Please note that by signing the application, you are indicating that you have read and understood the handbook, so please download both documents. If you cannot download these documents, request a mailing at fair@bangormaine.gov.
Camping: We have a limited number of camping sites on our grounds. These sites are available to Agricultural participants first, because they have animals to tend to. Leftover spaces go to vendors and attractions, but usually agricultural participants take them all. There are many camping areas within a short drive to the Fair, which can be found on The Maine Camping Guide.
